Bigmail is largely equivalent to an FTP program, except that
recipients are automatically notified by email where the data
can be downloaded.
Confidential data should first be encrypted, e.g., with OpenSSL
(Linux, macOS) or
Encrypto (Windows, macOS).
The password used to decrypt the data can then be shared, e.g.,
via "
Secret Share".
There are 2 versions of Bigmail:
- For members of TU Graz.
- For external senders who want to send
data to members of TU Graz.
